HALO GROUP Teaches
BRIAN HUCK, LCSW HAS A DIVERSE AND VARIED WORK BACKGROUND WHICH HAS FED HIS AWARENESS AND DESIRE FOR FINDING WAYS TO SUPPORT AND RETAIN GOOD EMPLOYEES. BRIAN FINDS THAT HIS EXPERIENCE IN BOTH ENTRY AND PROFESSIONAL LEVEL JOBS HAS GUIDED HIS PASSION AND APPRECIATION FOR THE “EMPLOYEE/EMPLOYER” RELATIONSHIP. IT IS WITHIN THIS RELATIONSHIP THAT HE HAS SEEN ORGANIZATIONS FLOURISH AND EMPLOYEES GROW AS WELL AS ORGANIZATIONS LANGUISH AND EMPLOYEES STRUGGLE AND LEAVE.
AS A PRACTICING LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER, BRIAN SPENDS HIS TIME PURSUING A HEALTHY PERSONAL/FAMILY/WORK LIFE BALANCE. PROFESSIONALLY, BRIAN ACTIVELY PROVIDES INDIVIDUAL, FAMILY AND GROUP THERAPY, PARTICIPATES IN EMPLOYEE INITIATED WELLNESS COMMITTEE, SUICIDE TASK FORCE AND WORKS WITH ORGANIZATIONS ON DEVELOPING A TRAUMA SENSITIVE, SUPPORTIVE AND FERTILE WORK ENVIRONMENT. UTILIZING THE LATEST RESEARCH AND UNDERSTANDING OF RISK FACTORS ASSOCIATED WITH SECONDARY TRAUMATIC STRESS, VICARIOUS TRAUMA AND COMPASSION FATIGUE IN FIRST RESPONDERS AND SECOND LINE CAREGIVERS, HE FOCUSES ON BUILDING HEALTHY EMPLOYEE/EMPLOYER RELATIONSHIPS.
BRIAN’S IN DEPTH UNDERSTANDING OF THE AVAILABLE RESEARCH AS WELL AS EXPERIENCE ASSESSING, PLANNING, IMPLEMENTING AND MEASURING THE EFFICACY OF STRATEGIC INTERVENTIONS, MAKE HIM A VALUABLE TEAM PARTNER FOR BUILDING AN ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE THAT IS TRULY TRAUMA INFORMED AND SENSITIVE. BY PROMOTING SECONDARY TRAUMATIC GROWTH, VICARIOUS RESILIENCE AND COMPASSION SATISFACTION, EMPLOYEES AND EMPLOYERS ARE ABLE MITIGATE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH OCCUPATIONAL HAZARDS OF BEING A CAREGIVER.
